2009/10 BANTAM TIER II OHIO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
The Tournament will be played according to USA Hockey rules and most of the District Tournament USA Guidelines.
GENERAL INFORMATION
· Teams are asked to stay at one of the Hotels we have listed.
· All Team Officials must have their USA Coaching Education Card and enter the number on the scoresheet before entering the Player Bench their first and, all games thereafter.
· All Teams/Players must sign in before each game played.
· A Team Official will be responsible for checking the game scoresheet before each game.
- Cross off any player not participating and verify the jersey numbers/Player names.
- Designate a “C” for Captain and an “A” for Assistant(s).
· There will be a $10 deposit for use of the Dressing Room, each game, and will be returned after inspected by a Tournament Official if in satisfactory condition.
· The Tournament games will consist of three 16 minute stop time periods.
· The points, 3-WIN, 2-OVERTIME WIN, 1-OVERTIME LOSS & 0-LOSS per game, will be awarded in the Round–Robin.
· The Team with the most points will advance to the Finals. If a tie should exist at the end of regulation time, the USA tie-breaker rules as outlined in the USA Hockey Annual Guide will apply.
· The penalty times will be the standard 2 minutes (Minor), 5 minutes (Major) and 10 minute (Misconduct).
· Players receiving a Game Misconduct may be required to attend a disciplinary hearing at the discretion of the Tournament Discipline Committee. Players receiving a Match penalty will be required to attend a disciplinary hearing.
· A Discipline Committee will be present which will include the Tournament Director and the Mid-Am Officials on-site.
· There will be one timeout allowed per game.
· All games will be played until a winner is determined according to the USA Rules and Regulations for the District Tournament except possibly the Championship Game.
· Ice cuts will take place after the 2nd period and end of each game.
· There will be three officials for every game (1 Referee & two Linesmen.)
· The “ZERO” tolerance rule will be enforced when necessary.
- Profane Language will not be tolerated from players, team officials, parents/fans,
thus, will be dealt with severely.
· Team & individual awards will be presented to the Champion and Finalist Teams.
